Beja
A city above the fields of Baixo Alentejo
Beja’s castle and keep are distinctive features of its urban skyline. The historic centre brings together buildings from different periods, while the city’s elevated position creates a broad visual relationship with the open fields and surrounding plains of Baixo Alentejo.
