Boticas
Boticas: rural valleys of Barroso
Boticas forms part of the Barroso landscape, characterised by valleys, meadows and livestock farming. The Beça and Terva rivers add different landmarks: historic bridges and traces of mining activity.
Beça valley
Ponte de Pedrinha marks a historic crossing of the river within the municipality's wider rural landscape.
Terva valley
The mining sites of Poço de Freitas, Batocas and Brejo record an early human transformation of this valley.
