Condeixa-a-Nova
Condeixa-a-Nova: Casmilo limestone
Condeixa-a-Nova brings Sicó’s limestone landscape together with the urban remains of Conímbriga. The Casmilo rock cavities and Rio dos Mouros valley reveal forms carved into rock, while the Roman ruins show another layer of local settlement.
Casmilo limestone
Large cavities open onto Casmilo valley between Senhora do Círculo hill and the Janeanes ridge, creating a distinctive rocky landscape.
Rio dos Mouros
The river follows a gorge between Poço village and Conímbriga; its waterfall is particularly visible during winter and spring.
