Figueiró dos Vinhos: Village on the ridge
In Figueiró dos Vinhos, Casal de São Simão and its rocky gorge reveal a close relationship between village, stone and water. Houses follow a ridge almost parallel to the Alge stream, beside a quartzite crest.
