Pinhel: historic town and Côa valley
Pinhel combines medieval streets and manor houses with a wider landscape of plateaux and hills. The Côa valley provides a contrasting terrain, particularly evident around Faia.

Medieval towers, old streets and eighteenth- and nineteenth-century manor houses distinguish the town.
