Reguengos de Monsaraz: town, hilltop and Alqueva
The municipality links Reguengos and its Neo-Gothic church with walled hilltop Monsaraz.
Two centres of different scales
Reguengos has its parish church as a central landmark. At Monsaraz, white houses and schist line streets inside the walls, high above the surrounding terrain.
Vines, clay and water
Wine production and the pottery of São Pedro do Corval are part of the cultural landscape. From Monsaraz, Alqueva reservoir expands the surrounding horizon.
