São João da Pesqueira: Douro cliffs and a historic square
São João da Pesqueira combines steep Douro slopes with vineyards, olive trees and orchards. In the town, Praça da República brings together buildings reflecting development associated with Port wine and the presence of landed families.
São Salvador do Mundo
From this viewpoint, the Douro and its tributary valleys reveal the contrast between rugged slopes and cultivated stretches of land.

The square forms an irregular rectangle, distinguished by the Távoras manor house and the decorative variety of its façades.
