Sátão
Sátão: carved stone, manor houses and boulders
In Sátão, stone appears in both crafted architecture and natural landforms. Solar dos Albuquerques and the Senhor da Agonia sanctuary near Avelal illustrate two different relationships with this material.
Manor architecture
Solar dos Albuquerques is distinguished by decorated stonework and a façade with six ornamental windows.
