Sernancelhe
Sernancelhe: chestnuts, a plateau and Romanesque architecture
Chestnut production characterises Sernancelhe, whose territory includes the Lapa plateau and the banks of the Távora. In the town, the Romanesque parish church adds a distinctive architectural landmark to a landscape with a strong agricultural presence.

The plateau rises to around a thousand metres, distinguishing this part of the municipality from landscapes associated with the Távora.
