Tabuaço
Tabuaço: the Távora and vineyard settlements
The Távora, a tributary of the Douro, is a geographical reference point for Tabuaço. Barcos occupies a gently rolling plateau, while Santo Aleixo lies on a river slope, revealing different settlement positions within the same municipality.
Barcos and its estates
The village combines a church of Romanesque origin with surrounding agricultural and wine estates, including the estate of Monte Travesso.
Architecture near the Távora
São Pedro das Águias and the Sabroso hermitage add Romanesque reference points to the understanding of local settlements and landscapes.
